It’s three promises, in order:

  1. 6 helps you figure out what you actually need done. Leaky ceiling — roofer or carpenter? You talk it through together, pictures and videos included, before anyone gets hired.
  2. 6 helps you find the right person for that job. Not a list of strangers — the right pro for the actual fix or build.
  3. 6 stays with the contractor every step of the way — and every major point of the work gets documented, before, during, and after.

WHAT WE WATCH

6 is there for every part of the job:

  • Before work starts — 6 helps assess the actual problem with you
  • During the fix or build — every phase, start to finish
  • The contractor documents the work as it happens
  • When it’s done — the whole job is documented, not just the invoice

ON TOP OF IT, THE WHOLE WAY

6 keeps track of the things that quietly ruin a job:

  • Appointments — 6 confirms the contractor is showing up when they said they would
  • Quality — every contractor is checked and rated before we recommend them
  • Disputes — if something goes wrong, 6 is right there to help sort it out, not a ticket in a queue

The documentation protects everybody: you get proof of what happened, and the contractor gets credit for great work. 6 helps contractors be the best contractors they can be.

On some plans, 6 also drafts a tools-and-materials checklist for the contractor before they leave for the job, so nothing gets left behind. That piece is part of a paid tier today — everything else on this page applies to every job.

WHAT “GUARANTEE” MEANS HERE

This is not a guarantee that the job goes perfectly, costs a certain amount, or finishes by a certain date — our Terms cover why we can’t promise that, and no honest company can.

What we guarantee is that it’s watched and documented, top to bottom. You get a real record of what happened, not just a memory of what someone told you. We don’t know another business that does this for every job, start to finish.

HONEST ABOUT WHERE WE ARE

This is new. 6 is still learning what to look for and how to document it well. Early jobs may be rougher than later ones — we’d rather tell you that upfront than pretend otherwise.
